Medical Receptionist - Cincinnati

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be a key part of our operations, handling a variety of tasks from managing incoming calls to scheduling follow-up appointments.

• Effectively manage incoming telephone calls, ensuring all are answered and screened appropriately
• Welcome and register patients, preparing necessary charts and documents
• Oversee check-out procedures, including reviewing encounter form data and organizing follow-up appointments
• Handle co-payment collection and ensure daily bank deposits are completed
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation duties, maintaining the smooth running of operations
• If necessary, undertake charge/receipt-entry and generate summaries for all office-related services
• Utilize EMR
• Electronic Medical Records, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and other relevant systems for Patient Registration and other tasks.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using Medical Front Office tools and protocols.
• Experience with EMR - Electronic Medical Records is essential.
• Ability to perform Patient Registrar duties efficiently.
• Proven experience in Patient Registration is required.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system.
• Experience with athenahealth software.
• Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks for healthcare management.
