Medical Lab Technician - MLT24-14487 - Locust Grove

Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours total)

Job Summary:

• Under general supervision, the MLT will:
• Perform tests that require limited skill and responsibility.
• Demonstrate independent judgment minimally as competency is achieved.
• Maintain accuracy in patient testing, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing.
• Ensure correct patient or specimen identification and accurate reporting of results.
• Utilize clinical and theoretical knowledge to analyze and report lab data.
• Investigate and resolve problems while interpreafting multiple sources of information.af
• Comply with lab procedures for tracking test status and handing off critical information to team members.
• Maintain documentation for notification value calls and quality assafurance trends.
• Meet deadlines for turn-around times and productivity standards.
• Practice cost-efficient work processes while maintaining high-quality data.

• Associates Degree in Medical Technology.

• Med Lab Technician (AAB).

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of laboratory experience is required.
