Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Detailed water quality analyses including historic trend analysis, waterbody health assessments, and TMDL/BMAP assessments
• Nutrient source tracking studies
• Interacting with client representatives;
• Directing multi-disciplinary project teams;
• Watershed management and stormwater master planning;
• Performing and overseeing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies;
• Developing innovative green infrastructure solutions for the urban environment;
• Applying innovative hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, from 1-D to 3-D transport models;
• Floodplain mapping and flood protection designs;
• In-stream and urban stormwater water quality monitoring and modeling;
• Field investigations and construction support services;
• Developing construction documents, including engineering drawings and technical specifications;
• Preparing erosion and sediment control designs;
• Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;
• Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and
• Helping broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.

Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, or natural resources science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline. (required)
• Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering or natural resources science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline. (preferred)
• Professional registration (i.e., P.E., P.G. CPESC, CPSWG). (preferred)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 5 years (7+ preferred) of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
• Project management experience managing multiple disciplinary teams to achieve project goals
• Familiarity with FDEP water quality standards related to the TMDL/BMAP program including alternative restoration plans (4b and 4e)
• Experience with modeling and design software tools such as ICPR, EPA-SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. (preferred)
• Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
