Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will oversee our daily and monthly accounting operations and supervise a team of financial staff. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing sales commissions, developing internal control policies, and providing comprehensive financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising daily and monthly accounting operations and a team of financial staff
• Calculating, analyzing, and managing sales commissions based on respective business strategies
• Developing and maintaining internal control policies and procedures to ensure conformity with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Providing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in an accurate and timely manner
• Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Managing full cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Overseeing budget preparation and the implementation of budgets
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports according to company needs
• Handling yearly audit preparations and coordinating auditing activities internally and with external auditors
• Working closely with executive leadership in strategic decision-making processes and supporting in forecasting business requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant accounting field.
• Demonstrable expertise in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is a must.
• Experience with BlackLine software is necessary.
• Familiarity with Concur software is expected.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Proficiency in managing Accounting Functions is required.
• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Auditing skills are necessary.
• Experience in Billing Functions is required.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.
• Should demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.
