Associate Financial Data Analyst
Overview:
The Associate Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of purchase requisitions, invoices, and vendor reconciliations for multiple branches simultaneously and other Sharp Electronic Corporation business units.Additionally, they will be responsible for reviewing the Travel & Entertainment policy and implementing changes, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee invoice processing for non-inventory purchases which includes vendor reconciliation, purchase requisitions management/entry.
- Manages invoice block review for SBS which includes a deep understanding of the invoicing process, and PR process in SAP needed to manage this role.
- For inventory-related purchases, review and reconcile invoices prior to submitting invoices for processing.
- Reconciliation of open purchase orders to invoices. Use management decisions to resolve discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile vendor activity to budget including tracing payment.
- For large vendors, perform and oversee monthly/quarter vendor reconciliations of open items. Use management decision in processing credits.
- Use management insight to provide root cause analysis and recommendations to resolve vendor/PR integrity issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements within core responsibilities.
- Review and interpret financial data and recommend changes as needed.
- Function as division-wide Controller for expenses by overseeing the review of T&E reports to policy for various SBS branches in lieu of SBS Controllers
- Recommends T&E policy and procedure changes as necessary and implements changes once approved by senior management.
- Review Commission invoices.
- Support audit requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar capacity preferred.
- Preferred SAP/BW experience.
- Data extraction from various systems and data manipulation skills, including Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Deep understanding of business reporting concepts and proven ability to apply concepts to solve business problems.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to produce high quality deliverables with minimal oversight.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large workloads and tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written skills required. Must interface with management and field personnel, and external customers. Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as individually with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Ability to train others a plus.

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $60,000-$65,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
