Overview:
QSC is actively seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to lead the evolution of analytics for our sales and business teams and to support our broader enterprise-level data strategy, overall enabling and accelerating the journey of QSC to be a data-centric company.This individual will be responsible for driving critical strategic initiatives across out organization with a high degree of autonomy, implementing complex analytical solutions spanning multiple systems and departments, and promoting data literacy and an analytical mindset across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who can operate with minimal supervision, presenting well-reasoned proposals to management around anything from schema and database design, to reimagining and optimizing core data structures and processes.The Sr. Data Analyst will be a key collaborator between technical, product, and business units, and needs to be able to translate business needs into actionable technical and/or product requirements, and vice versa. A successful candidate will blend strategic thinking and strong coordination skills with hands-on technical expertise to push data-driven decision making across the organization.
Finally, the ideal candidate will also be able to autonomously execute complex analytics to advise our business leadership on strategies going forward.
Base Pay Range: $101,000 - $134,000We will be accepting applications until a final candidate is identified.

This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities:
Strategic Data and Analytics Leadership- Identify and prioritize high-impact data initiatives with business, analytics, product, and IT leaders
- Directly collaborate with leadership across our GTM functions to design data driven customer journeys and lead metric definition and design.
- Ensure alignment between data strategy and business objectives; evangelize data-informed thinking and improvements
- Lead large-scale data project lifecycles, from conception to implementation
- Develop and deploy well designed and reusable data products to support business strategy development, following established governance and stewardship best practices; collaborate with business and analytics leadership on defining and reporting on key success metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improves business and technical processes that will enrich the data collected and lead to higher-impact decision making.
- Bridge high-level business requirements with technical designs; lead and coordinate between teams to design and build source-of-truth analyses and reporting across multiple business functions.
- Implement and promote industry-leading best practices across QSC when it comes to data usage, including modeling paradigms (Star, Snowflake schema), data warehousing (Kimball, Inmon), dashboard design, analytical approaches for insight generation, etc.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics practices that turn data into actionable insights.
- Ensure the delivery of regular reports and analyses to stakeholders to aid strategic decision-making.
- Support the building and publication of the enterprise analytics roadmap; coordinate with data and analytics functions to identify overlapping opportunities and force multipliers
- Be the voice of the business when collaborating across data, analytics, and IT (including enterprise architecture) to identify continuous improvement opportunities around data handling and processing to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Promote data literacy across the organization through training and advocacy.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data management and analytics.
- Collaborate closely across different functions at the senior leadership (LT/ET) level to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions.
- Collaborate closely with IT to continuously evolve our data capabilities, including pushing the envelope of thinking from an architectural, tooling, and processes standpoint to drive superior business results.
- Support strategic programs by leading efforts on data and metrics workstreams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (incl. engineering, computer science, mathematics, or others)
- Preferred: Graduate degree in a quantitative field (incl. engineering, computer science, mathematics, or others)
- 8+ years experience with hands on analytics (reporting, insights, etc)
- 5+ years experience with sales, business development, marketing, e-commerce, advertising, B2B, or merchandising data
- Preferred: 5+ years experience with analytics and data at a technology focused company
- Deep expertise with SQL
- Deep expertise with data modeling best practices
- Deep experience with key sales and business development strategies, especially in a B2B space
- Familiarity with modern data tools for analytics and visualizations heavily preferred (PowerBI, Looker, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc)
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Significant experience with delivering consumable analytics and insights across modalities, including written reports, interactive dashboards/reports, automated push notifications, and others; is a skilled data storyteller
- Experience with cloud data warehousing technologies (Google Cloud, AWS/Redshift, Azure, others) especially as it relates to leveraging them to attain business value and insights
- Experience with business development and campaign analytics data (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.), A/B testing principles, and optimization / feature-testing software
