Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process employee payroll information and ensure timely payments
• Responsible for maintaining precise records of employee time and status changes
• Ensure discrepancies in time records are addressed and resolved
• Adhere to company, state, and federal guidelines in filing required payroll documents and reports
• Handle inquiries and concerns about paychecks from employees, and involve other resources or staff when necessary
• Process and communicate garnishment information to all relevant parties
• Stay updated with HR payroll policies and public policy changes affecting payroll rules and guidelines
• Create detail oriented excel reports using payroll reporting software

Qualifications:

• Multi-state payroll experience is required
• Strong Excel skills
• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3 strong years of payroll experience, some general accounting experience a plus
