Landscape Relationship Specialist
Overview:
The Landscape Relationship Specialist is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of all landscape-related projects, ensuring that they align with community expectations and budget constraints. The role involves high-level coordination between the board, management, and vendors, with significant responsibilities in budget oversight, project execution, and vendor management.
The Landscape Relationship Specialist provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it related to this function.This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of landscape projects for the community, ensuring alignment with board directives and community standards.
- Manage expectations and enforce performance standards with landscape vendors, ensuring timely completion of work within scope and budget.
- Manage the landscaping budget, including forecasting costs, approving expenditures, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the community association board, management, and landscape vendors, providing updates and recommendations on project statuses and landscaping improvements.
- Conduct scheduled and spot inspections of landscape services and projects to ensure they meet contractual obligations and community expectations.
- Analyze and address landscaping issues, providing solutions to improve overall aesthetic and environmental conditions.
- Attend and present at board and committee meetings, providing detailed reports on landscaping efforts, project progress, and budget status.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with landscaping vendors to facilitate clear communication and prompt resolution of any concerns.
- Work with internal departments (maintenance, finance, property management) to ensure landscaping aligns with broader community goals and standards.
- Enforce safety procedures during landscape projects and ensure that all vendors comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Indirect responsibility of all landscaping vendors, ensuring scope of work is completed within deadlines and budget.

Education and Experience- High school diploma required.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in business administration, landscape management, horticulture, or a related field.
- Certifications in landscape management, project management, or related disciplines are a plus (e.g., Certified Landscape Professional, Project Management Professional).
- 2+ years of experience in landscape management or project management, preferably in large-scale community associations or similar environments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and project execution.
- Previous experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and overseeing large-scale landscape maintenance programs.
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting for landscape or property management projects is highly preferred.
- Position will require a valid Driver’s License.

- Must be able to operate a golf cart or other motor vehicle.
