Position: Process Analyst
Location: Independence, Kentucky
Position Type: Full Time
Reports to: Senior Process Analytics Engineer
Purpose: The Process Analyst will work with the Senior Process Analytics Engineer to design and

develop reports and trial plans for Flottweg

Primary Responsibilities: Reporting

Create custom test plans for upcoming pilot trials. This involves coordinating with the Technical

Projects Manager, customers, and Lab Manager to establish agreed upon expectations for
conducting trials and lab analysis. The Process Analyst will create the written test plan and
configure the process datasheet for recording data during trials.

Pilot trial reports are the next natural extension. After a pilot trial is completed following the test

plan, the Process Analyst will need to gather data from the Process Technician along with data
from the laboratory. The data needs collected, analyzed and then a pilot trial report written. The
trial report will present and discuss the results to potential customers and give extrapolated
results for production sized equipment.

Similar to creating test plans for pilot trials, the Process Analyst will need to develop test plans

including scheduling, for performance tests. Performance tests are different from pilot trials in the

scope of work, and typically need to meld with a customers required specifications.

Additional Responsibilities: Laboratory Analytics

The Process Analyst is expected to assist the Flottweg laboratory with analyzing trends between

the lab and the field to assist the Flottweg laboratory in research and development.

The Process Analyst is expected to support lab analytics and reporting related to pilot, feasibility,

and performance trials.
Data Collating

Process Analyst is expected to collate data with historical data and maintain an application based

results database.

Qualifications: STEM focused Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Science majors and or minors are

encouraged (Including, but not limited to, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Geology, and

Physics).

Eligibility:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Position requires a valid driver's license.
If hired, candidates are subject to background check and drug screen.
