We’re hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a welcoming local church in Palm Harbor! This role encompasses both bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities, supporting the church’s day-to-day operations. You’ll manage financial tasks such as QuickBooks Online account reconciliations and oversee accounts payable/receivable while handling administrative duties to keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of customer credit applications.
Perform account reconciliations regularly to maintain accuracy.
Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping and reporting tasks.
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy.
Execute month-end close procedures effectively.
Assist with general administrative duties to support church operations.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must.
Strong experience with bookkeeping, including account reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
Experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, data entry).
Must be immediately available to work onsite in Palm Harbor.
A positive attitude and a willingness to handle a mix of financial and administrative tasks.
