Senior Maintenance Mechanic

Full-time, 1st shift, salaried opportunity! 7AM - 3:30PM

A premier, family-owned food manufacturing company local to Middlesex County, NJ is searching for a Corrective Maintenance Supervisor to join their team!

The role requires following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
• Review maintenance plans and coordinate with external contractors when necessary to meet deadlines for repairs.
• Develop and maintain maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the FT Maintenance Software.
• Regularly inspect machinery for signs of malfunction through visual and auditory checks.
• Utilize various power and hand tools to perform repairs and replace parts as needed.
• Effectively supervise team members in a noisy environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility in collaborating with team members or assisting where needed.
• Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines or vehicles as required.
• Document all work performed in writing and enter records into the Preventative Maintenance (PM) software.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on food production line equipment as per department procedures and regulatory audits.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, consumables, and change tooling equipment.
• Assist with the installation, assembly, and testing of new machinery and equipment when necessary.
