Controller (Plant)

We are seeking a Controller (Plant) for our operations based in Aurora, Illinois. The individual will be a pivotal part of our team, overseeing the financial management of two locations. This role predominantly operates in the Construction and Manufacturing industry and will revolve around cost accounting, inventory accounting, forecasting, cash management, and team management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cost accounting processes across two locations
• Handle month-end closing procedures and inventory accounting
• Develop and implement effective forecasting techniques to optimize business operations
• Manage cash flow and ensure efficient utilization of resources
• Lead a team of 5, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Leverage your skills in Manufacturing Cost Accounting and Inventory Accounting
• Utilize Sage Timberline software to streamline accounting processes
• Employ Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is essential.
• Must have extensive experience in Inventory Accounting.
• Familiarity and proficiency with Sage Timberline software is required.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.
