Great opportunity for a long-term contract position as an IT Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will be overseeing system support and enhancement, offering technical guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Overseeing the support and enhancement of the Manhattan WMS system or any other similar Warehousing Management Tool.
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in WMS technology
- Providing technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders
- Ensuring that WMS processes and systems adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley SOX regulations
- Leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and communication
- Preparing and presenting project status risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management
- Managing project scope changes, cost, and schedule
- Developing comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Understanding the AS400 Operating system and Aldon Change Management tool
- Familiarizing with Communication protocols in AS400 system e.g Handheld Scanners and Voice
- Overseeing Manhattan WMS system support team and managing the implementation of multiple part system projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder management
- Proven experience in management, particularly in leading diverse teams
- Understanding of budget processes and financial management
- Demonstrable experience in project management within IT sector
- Experience with scanning and other relevant IT technologies
- Ability to understand and implement regulations within the project scope
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements
- Experience in managing stakeholders, including suppliers and team members
- Knowledge of warehouse management, particularly in the automotive industry
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks
- Knowledge of various operating systems relevant to project requirements
- Proven experience in change management within an IT project context
- Ability to develop and manage project timelines effectively
- Experience in team management, including remote teams.
