Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee production operations while focusing on developing and guiding the team.
- Lead and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Bachelor’s degree with chemical manufacturing and supervisory experience, preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in the Chemical Process Industry with supervisory experience, preferably in batch operations with a broad understanding of unit operations.
- Familiarity with Process Safety Management and ISO9001
- Monitor employee performance to ensure that the company standard operating procedures are followed with regard to safety, environmental, production, quality, housekeeping and training while optimizing production efficiency. Provide transfer of information between shifts through toolbox meetings and supervisory exchange at shift turnover.
- Analyze and resolve process, production, safety/environmental and quality problems as they arise. These issues will be reported and investigated to identify causes and corrective actions.
- Compile, review and analyze production related data to recommend improvement plans and ensure production goals are met.
*Shift is a 7-day, 12 hour rotating shift - 30 days on first shift then rotating to 30 days on night shift*
