HR Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in the Downtown Manhattan area. The HR Coordinator will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support in the Human Resources department, handling employee changes in the system, requisition support, email follow up and other HR adhoc projects.

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in a fast paced industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee changes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS system effectively
  • Provide administrative support within the Human Resources department
  • Conduct regular follow-ups via email to ensure smooth communication within the team
  • Demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude and take accountability for all tasks
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Raise requisition requests diligently as per the company's needs
  • Use communication skills effectively to address and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Utilize your skills in HR administration to enhance daily operations
  • Monitor and manage the use of software tools such as Lever, UKG, and Slack for efficient operation.
  • Must possess at least one year of experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Track System and HRIS System is required
  • Should have experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is required
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
