Director of Finance & Accounting

You will manage all aspects of financial operations, provide key financial insights, and implement the processes necessary to support the company’s rapid expansion. Key Responsibilities will include Department Build-out, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Financial Planning & Forecasting, Revenue Recognition, Project Accounting, Financial Statement Preparation, Cash & Banking, Accounts Payable/Receivable & Client Billing, Leadership & Communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). CPA or MBA (preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and/or business management.
• Prior experience in a start-up or scale-up environment as well as experience within the professional services industry i.e. consulting, marketing, advertising, legal services.
• Deep knowledge of revenue recognition for project-based consulting services.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Hands-on approach to accounting and financial management.
• Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to build and scale a department.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
