Assistant Medical Director is needed in Los Angeles Suburbs
Core programs include primary care, pediatrics, adolescent teen clinic, dental, optometry and mental and behavioral health. The organization participates in state and local disease collaboratives, and QI programs.
We are seeking an Assistant Medical Director to work in our clinic. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
AdministrativeQuality Assurance, peer review, and maintain confidentiality
Quality improvement, chart audits, and process improvement programs both system-wide and cluster-specific
Cluster specific meetings and administrative task as assigned by the Medical Director
Helps in the recording of no-show visits and lab results|refills
Collaborate with marketing and other health education staff on education and patient recruitment health fairs
Maintain current knowledge-base and appropriate licensure
Maintain productivity per VCH standard
Ensure compliance with license requirements as stated in Title 22
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
70% Clinical and 30% Administrative task for a 5 day work week. The average total number of patients per year is 2000 patients.
The new assistant medical director will rotate in 2 clinics but never on the same day. Each clinic does have three physicians and several mid-level providers. He|She will report to the Medical Director.
