CNC Lathe Machinist

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you’ll play a crucial role in producing accurate parts to meet and exceed customer expectations.

education: High School

• Operate and set up CNC lathes to machine parts according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
• Program or adjust G-code/M-code as needed to optimize efficiency and precision.
• Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for various machining operations.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain tolerances and quality standards.
• Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
