Job Responsibilities:

• Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular & neuro-interventional cases by scrubbing alongside them.
• Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic machines, demonstrating expertise in their functions.
• Retrieve and circulate specialized products during interventional procedures with efficiency and accuracy.
• Apply critical thinking during neuro-interventional and complex procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media administration.
• Use closed-loop communication to enhance patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols when setting up procedural trays.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons to deliver quality care.
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) and transfer images to Sectra/PACS.
• Manage groin access sites post-intervention and support patient recovery.
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Current NJ Radiographic License
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA-approved or accredited equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited radiographic program (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist
• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree preferred
