Customer Service Representative

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Oxon Hill, Maryland. This role is within the event industry where you will provide support for conferences and events. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they are checked in efficiently and directed appropriately.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the check-in process for event guests
• Assist in the scanning of guest badges for event entry
• Provide direction and guidance to guests to ensure smooth navigation within the event venue
• Utilize customer service skills to resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of guest attendance and participation
• Use your data entry skills to update customer records and process applications
• Monitor guest accounts and take necessary actions as required
• Ensure all customer interactions are processed accurately and efficiently. • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service
• Proven experience with Data Entry
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints
• Strong computer skills including the ability to use email and internet
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management skills
