Dedicated to serving those who defend the US and warfighters, Nisga’a MOSTT offers Military Operations support and Specialized Tactical Training (MOSTT). Nisga’a MOSTT’s services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support.

Summary:

The Aircraft Servicer Team Lead will oversee and participate in the maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of aircraft. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation maintenance and flight line operations and will be responsible for leading a team to ensure aircraft are properly washed, lubricated, and prepared for operations in compliance with all safety and technical regulations.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead a team of aircraft servicers in performing aircraft washes, lubrications, and interior cleanings in accordance with technical orders and work cards.
  • Assign tasks and ensure the team completes them efficiently and to standard.
  • Oversee the installation and removal of protective covers and the proper preparation of aircraft for washing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the team and upper management, communicating progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and problem-solving.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, strategies, and updates, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives.
  • Operate and supervise the use of towing equipment to safely move aircraft and ground support equipment as needed.
  • Use and maintain high-pressure wash systems to clean external and internal aircraft surfaces, removing grease, dirt, oil, fungus, and stains.
  • Comply with all Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, Tool Control, and other safety and industrial regulations.
  • Operate portable firefighting equipment as required for safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for aircraft forms and maintenance information systems.
  • Communicate effectively using two-way communication equipment to coordinate team activities and ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiar with normal operational safety requirements, working on and around aircraft and ground support equipment.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Capable of comprehending written and oral instructions for the use of aircraft cleaning equipment.
  • Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing and reaching above shoulder level, pushing or pulling weight up to 70 pounds.
  • Requires eye hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must have close vision to include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires hearing to the normal range.
  • May require the use of respirator.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 – 4 years of related experience.
  • This role requires strong leadership, technical skills, and a commitment to safety in an aviation environment.
  • Ability to meet any Government/Company licensing and qualification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military experience is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $34.00 per hour.
