Job Description
The Cost Accounting Manager is an integral part of the Finance team serving as a business partner to the rest of the organization.- Develop and enhance the costing function and own the production variances and continuous improvement items around these variances.
- Provide insight into the product margins and variances.
- Develop product line P/L's, determine what customers and product lines are profitable and recommend ways to improve profitability.
- Improve efficiency's and reduce costs.
- Automate and deploy KPI reporting
- Help the organization become highly data centric with easy to access real time information.
- Ensure cycle counts and other internal controls are followed and adhered to in regards to costing.
- Grow into an FP&A lead role in the future.
- Entrepreneurial mindset when in developing key costing initiatives

The Successful Applicant- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing/costing role
