Shifts Available:

Full-Time | Day/Evening/Night

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? At St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, we believe that providing the best care starts with ensuring a safe, secure environment for everyone. We are looking for dedicated Security Officers to be the vigilant protectors of our hospital, where our young patients and their families come to heal and grow.

As a Security Officer, you’ll play a critical role in creating a reassuring, protective atmosphere that enables our medical teams to do what they do best: care for children. Whether you’re working the bustling day shift or the quiet, calm night shift, you will be on the frontlines of safety, security, and peace of mind.

What will you do?

💼 Protect with Purpose: As a Security Officer, you'll monitor all areas of the hospital— from patient floors to parking lots— ensuring the safety and security of our children, families, and hospital staff.

🚶♂️ Be Our Eyes & Ears: Perform routine patrols, check security systems, and ensure all hospital areas are free of any security risks, keeping a keen eye on anything that could disrupt the hospital’s operations.

🛡️ Respond with Confidence: In the rare case of an emergency or security threat, you’ll act quickly and professionally to resolve the situation, while always prioritizing the well-being of our patients and staff.

💬 Be the Friendly Face: Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and patients—whether it’s offering directions or answering questions—helping them feel welcome and secure in our hospital.

👮♂️ Maintain a Calm and Caring Environment: While security is your top priority, we never lose sight of the human element. You’ll be part of a team that truly cares about its community—children and families first.

Who would thrive here?
  • Individuals with a Heart for Service: You understand that security isn’t just about preventing threats—it’s about fostering a sense of safety and calm for everyone who walks through our doors.
  • Someone with a Strong Presence: While previous security experience is a plus, we’ll provide training and guidance to help you succeed in this role.
  • A Team Player: You’ll work closely with other hospital staff to ensure we all do our part in keeping our hospital a safe haven for children and their families.
  • Someone who has a Focus on Safety: You’ll always be on alert, prepared to handle any situation with professionalism and care.
