This floating position offers the opportunity to provide services across a range of programs within Santa Clara County, working under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor in a dynamic team-based setting. As a Bilingual Social Worker, you will be an essential support in the lives of clients and caregivers, working directly within multiple community programs to help achieve impactful treatment goals.

In this role, you will meet regularly with clients and caregivers, applying culturally informed, evidence-based practices to ensure care is tailored to individual needs. As the Bilingual Social Worker your responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations, documenting mental health notes, developing care plans, and reporting outcome measures and incidents accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support
  • Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions
  • Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan
  • Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate
  • Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation
  • Participate in individual and/or group supervision
  • Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques, this may include intervening with the clients' behavior

Qualifications:

REQUIRED
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
  • Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed
  • Bilingual Spanish skill set
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
PREFERRED
  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care
  • Experience with behavioral work and interventions
  • Experience with case management

Schedule:

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday
  • Option 1: 10am - 6pm
  • Option 2: 11am - 7pm
  • Exact schedule can be determined with applicant and take into account their preference
  • Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely

Benefits:

  • Starting at $91,232 - $105,232 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
  • Salary increases each year
