ME186 - Full-Time Nanny/House Manager - NYC

Overview:
A loving family of three on the Upper East Side of New York City is seeking a full-time family assistant to join their team. There is one child at the moment who is 4.5 years old. There is a full-time housekeeper in the home. The family is looking for someone who is comfortable working as a nanny shifting to personal/house managerial work when the child is at school.During the school year 11 or 11:30 am-7pm Monday through Friday and during the summer 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
The family is looking for a person who is highly intelligent and has a background in childhood education. They'd prefer this person run errands, organize, and grocery shop while the child is in school. You should be able to make a home manual and make sure things are running smoothly in their home life.The role would be out of the home with a guaranteed 40 hours per week with flexibility. For the right fit they can make the schedule work, but this person has to be flexible on hours and days with the possiblilty of some weekend help if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Household Support
- Manage schedules, appointments, reservations, travel planning, running errands where needed
- Light Cooking
- Prepare simple, kid-friendly meals when needed (cooking experience not required, just a willingness to help)
- Provide childcare support on an as-needed basis
- Pick-ups and drop-offs from school, taking the child to activities and engaging them in educational and stimulating games (the biggest point is to engage with the child)
Requirements:
- Childhood education or college degree is a must
- No job is too small attitude
Salary and Benefits:
- $35-45/hr
