Electrical Engineer - Randstad
An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This position will design and oversee complex construction projects, including semiconductor tool installations, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

responsibilities:
- Work on projects enabling the heart of clients' businesses, including advanced semiconductor manufacturing and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
- Deliver complex construction packages, including tool installation design.
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Supervise less experienced engineering and design staff as needed.
- Produce single-line diagrams, installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, lighting plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash/Short-Circuit Current studies.
- Support senior engineers in the selection and specification of electrical equipment.
Skills:
- Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM modeling software.
- strong skills in digitally marking up drawings using applications such as Autodesk Design Review and BIM360 for delegation to designers.
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications.
- Familiarity with design and construction project delivery, from project initiation to detailed design and services during construction.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy from an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum of 6 years of electrical engineering experience related to facility engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Idaho.
