What You'll Do:
We are currently seeking a Trade Marketing Manager who will be accountable for the creation and execution of Wilson’s national account and Golf Specialty green grass marketing efforts as it relates to consumer facing retail marketing support, generating interest in products, and increasing our return on sales.The Trade Marketing Manager collaborates with the business unit marketing teams, sales teams, and creative team to ensure consistent branding efforts across the organization and supplies marketing toolkits and POP to drive promotional opportunities and increase retail sales.
There is also a strong emphasis on shaping best practice on advisory staff support, demo events, training and customer incentives to be activated globally. This position is creative in nature, working cross-functionally to maximize our market share in a highly competitive landscape.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute trade marketing plans and support assets with a consumer-first mindset, remaining relevant and increasing brand visibility across all retail channels
- Be responsible for North American Advisory staff, Demo, training and incentive programs and advise best practice to the wider global team
- Translate brand goals into relevant storytelling by owning relevant marketing briefs
- Strong interaction with the sales and commercial team on strategic planning and activation in the market
- Manage and track budget to ensure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
- Develop reports and presentations on market trends and customer insights
- Analyze sales data and develop reports to track effectiveness of activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful execution of marketing plans
- Keep current on industry trends and best practices
What We're Looking For :
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Other qualifications include:
- Previous experience in the golf industry a plus
- Highly collaborative individual who can lead the strategic direction and consistency of our brand messages to our consumers and inspire & lead fellow stakeholders to develop and deliver truly differentiated experiences that effectively bring the brand to life in unique and powerful ways
- Proven ability to leverage cultural insights, trends, and consumer insights to successfully execute marketing plans
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
- Comfort and ability to confidently interact and present information to all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage many workstreams with different stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships, networks, and teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic, global, and collaborative environment
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure with changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines
