responsibilities:
- Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Business Analytics assignments/projects.
- Works in collaboration with business leaders to provide strategic partnership in analytics, identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions, leverage data science and technology capabilities, embed analytics-driven processes, operationalize and measure impact, to support decision making and execution based on data, facts and analytical findings across different parts of the organization.
- Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
- Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
- Focuses on providing thought leadership within Business Analytics but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
- The main responsibility is to ensure that the data used within the organisation is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
- Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
- Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
- Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
- Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
- Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
- Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.
- Collaboration is a key component of the job. You'll work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- By fostering a culture of data quality, you contribute to the overall success of the organisation's data initiatives.
