Business Analyst - BA25-20813

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support Member and Managed Care and Reference functional areas, ensuring the successful development, testing, and implementation of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health plan management, operational concepts, and the systems development lifecycle (SDLC). Preference will be given to candidates with Medicaid systems experience, claims processing knowledge, and familiarity with healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in joint application design sessions with stakeholders.
• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements.
• Execute and review test runs, ensuring proper sign-off on testing components.
• Document requirements and participate in design, development, and testing activities.
• Support the development of end-user training materials and documentation.
• Assist in system stabilization efforts post-implementation, monitoring system changes and fixes.
• Collaborate with vendors to define and test business requirements.
• Communicate updates and changes to impacted stakeholders.
• Represent the team in business meetings as needed.
• Provide support to program staff, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding system-related inquiries.
• Conduct data queries and analysis as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in business analysis across all stages of the system project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing.
• SQL proficiency with strong data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, system analysts, QA teams, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional project teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to document findings and recommend solutions.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, IT, or Healthcare Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
