Maintenance Supervisor

Our client in Latrobe is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team

Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct maintenance repairs, and implement preventive maintenance procedures for all equipment and facilities.
• Oversee and manage daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks for production equipment and building facilities.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to optimize production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality while minimizing downtime.
• Regularly inspect and assess the safe and efficient operation of all machinery, robots, and auxiliary equipment in production.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to install new or specialized equipment, automation systems, and robots.
• Execute equipment repairs and maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate proactive initiative in identifying and addressing potential problems promptly.
• Manage inventory of spare equipment and promptly notify Maintenance Manager when replacements are required.
• Possess a solid understanding of basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical principles, including the ability to interpret relevant technical prints.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic safety standards set by O.S.H.A. and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and work areas in accordance with company policies.
