Controller

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the detail oriented services industry for a Controller based in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204, United States. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and actively participating in strategic planning.

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring they align with the GAAP Accounting standards.
• Collaborate with firm leadership in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Lead the budget and forecasting processes to maintain financial health of the organization.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.
• Supervise direct reports, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular auditing for internal controls and financial transactions.
• Manage all aspects of accounting functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position within the Services industry
• Proficiency in overseeing all accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and ledger entries
• Demonstrated experience in performing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established standards
• Proven track record in managing budget processes, including planning, forecasting, and monitoring of budget variances
• Solid understanding of the accounting cycle and ability to facilitate the efficient flow of transactions
• Experience in managing accounting operations, such as record-keeping, reporting, and data analysis
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to apply them in day-to-day operations
