Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented in-office Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and proactive HR professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for supporting employees.This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, PEO oversight, compensation agreement administration and expense and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Partner with company leadership to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and screen candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals).
- Conduct initial phone screens and schedule interviews.
- Prepare offer letters
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and new hires are successfully integrated into the team.
- Oversee TriNet PEO services and activities.
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate training and development programs to ensure regulatory compliance and to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain training records and track employee development.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits through TriNet PEO platform.
- Ensure accurate processing of employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment.
- HR Operations:
- Oversee payroll bonuses and submissions.
- Manage payroll reporting function.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Administer loan officer compensation agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with TriNet or similar PEO platform.
- Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
- Annual salary range $65,000-$90,000 plus benefits
