Description:

The Maintenance Projects Supervisor is an essential part of the InProduction Inventory Operations Team. This position is directly responsible for assembling and repairing material used on jobs. The Maintenance Projects Supervisor will drive the equipment repair process as well as be responsible for assembling new products, ensuring all products are service, clean, and suitable for use on a job.

This is a people centric position which requires directing a transit and ever-changing workforce.

Responsibilities:

Supervising Repair and Assembly Teams:

  • Lead and supervise teams of technicians, assemblers, and repair personnel.
  • Provide training to ensure efficient execution of repair and assembly tasks.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Monitor the entire repair and assembly process to prevent delays and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate with team members about production schedules, materials needed, and any changes.
  • Coordinate repair and assembly activities with other departments (e.g., engineering, logistics) as required.

Inspections and Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular inspections to verify that repaired and assembled products meet quality requirements.
  • Ensure all safety equipment (e.g., hard hats, safety glasses) is in good working order.

Task Assignment and Shift Management:

  • Assign tasks based on specialized skills or knowledge (e.g., cutting lumber, utilizing drills, etc).
  • Schedule shifts and changes according to production requirements.

Tasks and projects this position is going to be required to oversee and perform:

o Assembling new products such as glass guard rail.

o Configuring seats with the proper color.

o Assembling steps, replacing step boards.

o Repairing of bleacher decks.

o Ensuring all specialty items (tables, seats, divider) are serviceable and in a usable condition. Pulling unserviceable items and performing proper maintenance to return it to usable stock.

o Responsible for ensuring all materials for The Masters is properly prepared every year (painting, powder coating, cleaning, etc.)

o Maintain proper accountability of all tools utilized in the yard.

o Ensuring all equipment in the yard is serviceable and suitable for safe use.

o Inspection of equipment for damaged and or broken pieces, making repairs where suitable and recommending disposal, when applicable.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma required.

Experience and Training:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in construction/handyman type role.
  • On-the-job training is common for this position.
  • Familiarity with specific company processes, procedures, and equipment preferred

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of repair techniques, assembly procedures, and relevant equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Maintaining quality of inventory in order to provide the best possible product to customers.

Leadership Skills:

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage teams effectively.

Compensation: $20-23 Hourly
