We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in our Manufacturing industry based in LITTLETON, Colorado. This role will primarily involve maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
- Maintain meticulous records of customer credit
- Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly
- Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed
- Perform bookkeeping tasks with a focus on Accounts Payable
- Serve as a backup for Billing and Payroll operations
- Regularly log, scan and file documents for record-keeping
- Manage vendor accounts, maintaining relationships with approximately 600 vendors
- Process an average of 300 invoices monthly
- Utilize expertise in software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with Billing procedures
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks
- Experience in Invoice Processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle software
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software
- Knowledge of SAP software
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- A minimum of a high school diploma, though an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
