Ready to take your HR expertise to the next level? We're seeking a Benefits Administrator & HR Specialist to lead our benefits administration and support strategic HR initiatives. If you're passionate about optimizing employee benefits, navigating complex compliance, and driving HR efficiency, this role is for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee benefits management, open enrollment, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
  • Support onboarding, payroll, and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, carriers, and payroll.

  • Expertise in HR best practices, employee relations, and data management.
salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
  • Manage open enrollment processes and procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Census preparation
  • Plan selection and education
  • Coordination with providers on submissions of benefits elections
  • Post enrollment reconciliation with carriers
  • Manage benefits transactions between employee, employer and carrier
  • Coordinate benefits elections with payroll and accounting.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the Human Resources, including onboarding and offboarding procedures, FMLA, Workers Comp and OSHA reporting, training and annual reviews.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
