Title Processor

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Title Clerk in our team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Operating in the Mortgage Companies industry, the role involves handling various tasks related to title processing, customer service, and associated clerical functions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process real estate documents pertaining to property titles.
• Conduct detailed examinations of property titles to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues that could affect transactions.
• Prepare and submit title documents in line with strict deadlines and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by professionally responding to inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Assist clients throughout the title acquisition process, keeping them updated and informed as needed.
• Coordinate with legal departments or real estate agents to address any issues found during the title examination.
• Maintain well-organized records of all property transactions and perform regular audits.
• Work collaboratively with team members to streamline procedures and enhance productivity.
• Enter pertinent information into company databases accurately and efficiently, performing data entry tasks as required. • Proficiency in using Abila MIP and other accounting software systems
• Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat and ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge and experience in using CRM tools
• Understanding and ability to perform accounting functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to efficiently answer inbound calls
• Experience in check processing
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in Title Clearing for mortgage companies
• Knowledge of the mortgage industry and its regulatory requirements.
